About the Club
Atemi Nationals Team 2011
Cambridge University Jitsu Club has grown to over 50 licenced members - mostly
university students but also with a very healthy mix of non-students.
The club is jointly run by Robert Snell and Simon 'Sol' Oliver, with the help of several assistant instructors and a
dedicated club committee. The club provides an opportunity for students
to release some stress, get fit, learn to defend themselves, take
part in a number of cross-college social events and compete in the annual Varsity Match with Oxford University Jitsu Club
. Cambridge University Jitsu Club has now held the Varsity Shield for two years running.
All TJF instructors
are CRB checked, have undergone ITC first aid training for sport and are members of Sportscoach UK
If you're curious about Jitsu the best thing to do is come along - all
are welcome to come to our regular Monday, Thursday or Saturday training
